Working from home doesn&#8217;t mean you have to lose your good habits. In fact, it&#8217;s the perfect time to make new resolutions, like becoming a recycling pro!<\/p>\n\n<p>Ready to sort out your office supplies? We&#8217;ll help you find the best way to get rid of them.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-societevia.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Sensibilisation-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9travail_crayons-300x300.png\" alt=\"Non-recyclable_pencils-VIA Company\" class=\"wp-image-2112\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PENCILS, PENS, MARKERS, HIGHLIGHTERS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Whether they&#8217;re made of plastic or even cardboard, whether you&#8217;ve taken the time to remove the remaining ink or even separate the materials, pencils, pens, markers and highlighters should never be put in your recycling bin.<\/p>\n\n<p>Find out about the various recycling programs offered by certain establishments, such as the one offered by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terracycle.com\/fr-CA\/brigades\/staples-fr-ca#@54.02407489434523:-102.71170552618241zoom:4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bureau en gros in collaboration with TerraCycle<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Some programs may currently be suspended due to sanitary conditions. If possible, store all your pencils in a box so that you can dispose of them in the right way when they become available again. If necessary, dispose of them in the garbage can.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-societevia.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Sensibilisation-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9travail_papier-300x300.png\" alt=\"Paper_recycling-Company VIA\" class=\"wp-image-2113\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SHEETS OF PAPER<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>For paper, our best advice is to use the 3Rs technique.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Reduce.<\/strong>  Before printing, ask yourself whether it&#8217;s really necessary or whether you can just display the document on screen.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Reuse.<\/strong>  If you have sheets that are printed on one side only, use the reverse side to take notes, or give them to your children to express their creativity. Plus, you&#8217;ll have a pretty picture to hang in your office!<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Recycle.  <\/strong>Put your paper in your blue bin for recycling. For shredded paper, place in a transparent plastic bag. This will make the task of our sorters much easier, as well as preventing it from being mistaken for a rubbish bag.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-societevia.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Sensibilisation-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9travail_enveloppes-300x300.png\" alt=\"Envelopes_recycling-Company VIA\" class=\"wp-image-2114\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ENVELOPES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>With or without windows, paper envelopes can be recycled. However, beware of padded envelopes, which unfortunately cannot be recycled. Have you thought about giving them a second life?<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-societevia.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Sensibilisation-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9travail_%C3%A9crans-300x300.png\" alt=\"computer_equipment_recycling-Company VIA\" class=\"wp-image-2115\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>COMPUTER EQUIPMENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Computers, monitors, printers and ink cartridges should never end up in your recycling bin. Find a drop-off location near you using Recyc-Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recyc-quebec.gouv.qc.ca\/points-de-recuperation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c7a va o\u00f9?<\/a> application.<\/p>\n\n<p>And for those times when you have to go to the office, remember to keep up your good sorting habits.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you use <strong>disposable masks<\/strong>, find out how to dispose of them properly. Recyc-Qu\u00e9bec offers a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recyc-quebec.gouv.qc.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/liste-options-recuperation-EPI.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of companies that recover personal protective equipment<\/a>. In all cases, out of respect and to ensure the health of our sorters, do not put them in your recycling bin.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you can&#8217;t stop yourself from craving a cup of coffee on the road, take your <strong>cardboard glass<\/strong> home and put it in your blue bin.
